This is the main Entebbe-to-Queen Elizabeth safari transfer day. We use breaks deliberately, then protect the lodge arrival instead of promising a rushed game drive after a long road journey.
Day 3: Game Drives and Kazinga Boat Cruise
Begin early on the Kasenyi plains, when the light is low and the park is most awake. Your guide works patiently through kob grounds, elephant paths, buffalo herds, and predator areas rather than rushing the drive.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and waterbirds gather close to the banks. An evening drive can be added if timing and energy are right.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
After the ranger briefing, enter Bwindi with your trekking group and guides. Trek length, terrain, and pace vary with the assigned gorilla family and conditions; once you reach the family, the standard visit is up to one hour.
Return to your sector-matched lodge for a quiet afternoon. A Lake Bunyonyi night is only added when it supports the confirmed permit sector and the next day's road plan.
